This product is a must if you drive any dog that chases the other 800 meters. You can pick up the dogs for at least a mile and a half in a dense cover. My first one stopped working after six months. I ordered another because I could not find my receipt. It is replaceable for one year.

You’ll love the extra range you get with this over the factory installed antenna. The camera comes with a D-ring you can attach to your belt buckle, very nice at the first drop of the device and do not realize it, saves buying a new unit.
2 stars for durability, I’ve broken one already. I crawled under a fence. The antenna was found under my knee and broke in two.
5 stars for Garmin. I sent an e-mail to support Garmin and they replaced the antenna.
1 star for the purchase of replacement / spare parts. I just wanted to buy a replacement antenna. Garmin does not sell it individually. I had to buy another complete unit for a replacement.
5 stars for extended range. You’ll never use the factory antenna again once you have one of these.

It made my astro 220 to two times farther than it did before my purchase of long-range antenna.
