This product is poorly made and has multiple manufacturing problems, which could have been avoided: The idea is to use a GPS transmitter to locate your lost dog. That is why I returned mine:
1. GPS transmitter is not waterproof. The gray plastic case has a gap of 2 inches long that will easily allow water to penetrate and destroy the internal electronics. Even the night condensation may damage the device.
2. GPS transmitter falls easily on the black plastic housing at low prices that attaches to the collar of your dog. You can find the transmitter (assuming no exposure to moisture), but not your beloved dog, which could be long gone.
3. Antenna was shipped very loose.
Company did not respond when I informed them of these problems. I even offered remedies / fixes expensive they could use, they do not.
Waiting until another company comes with a quality GPS locator for your dog, then buy it.

GPS tracking, LLC (Global Pet Finder) has totally ripped. We have contacted the technical support by phone 7 times and 6 times by e-mail over a period of five days and not one person has ever returned our call. We have had service for about six hours over five days. Our dog was off its balance sheet for an hour because we were testing the system and we have not received an alert saying it was outside the fence. The battery was disconnected after about. 18 hours and we have not received an alert. This product is a total waste of money not to mention the time it was set up and test to make sure it works. We have never been contacted by a technical support, ever. What a joke. We returned and went to Verizon Wireless. Who said it must be done to a dog? We purchased a Migo tracking system (GPS for children) and paid $ 49. 95, you must have a plan for the family and your phone must be “escorted Capable. GPS capable Migo weighs about 2. 5 oz and it works! We bought a case backpack and just cut our dog collar. We pay $ 9. 99 per month for the tracking service (and we are not charged extra for “localized” as you do with Petfinder) and an additional $ 9. 99 We can define “fences” as much as you want, like “Home”, and you receive a text message on your phone capable escort if your pet leaves the designated area. I would give 4 Migo. 5 stars. It is called “escort” and would be effective for seniors also, if you have a relative or someone you worry. Their technical support was great!

This product keeps changing their residential address, none of them is the address I typed in the initial domain. There is not loaded when it is actually able to function as advertised if you went from home any length of time and put your dog in a yard. In addition, gravity must be down to the lower neck in common use so that when the dog does things normal dog, the device sinks downward so that the antenna is pointing straight down. The pictures are misleading. We have tried all the advice the company gave us. It is simply not a device that works when and where you need it to work. There was much to invest to get that many problems.

I do not actually have this product, but I know a bit of information that society tries to hide until you have your heart set on it. It is a monthly fee of 18 or 20 dollars per month! I bought this book hoping that it would address my concerns about my dog out of the house without a leash. But this product has not helped at all. First, it would not let me login to the site, they have done because they said they had many activations in one day and mine does not. Ok, I went with that until I can get the site to get this up and running. Then he could not get a lock on a GPS signal, and I’m on a green area full coverage map. As for customer support when I received the GPS, I e-mailed support I never received an answer until three days later, but the quick start guide, it guarantees response within 24 hours. So after waiting two days, I call and whatever option I choose I always had a voice message, I did leave a message so someone please call, and nobody ever called. Once I had an answer they put in place so that I can finally get my product activated, the GPSA was unable to obtain a lock signal. So I sent an email and again received no response until the second day. I followed what they told me to do and it still did not work. Then they said I had to return the product to them so they can put it up there. It was a great sign for me that this product still has many gaps that need to be developed; support otherwise Tech should have been able to explain how to get this device working properly. He has been picking up a signal but the device has always been the address of a block beyond where it actually was and the address of the house always changed. It seems odd that I could get a signal, but the device has never locked a GPS signal or out of configuration mode. I sent this product back for any product that has many problems right from the beginning will not be worth the money in the long term. Besides, you only have 15 days to return the product for a full refund. If I would have sent the product back to them to put in place, “as they say” it would have ended after 15 days and I’ll never be able to recover my money in a fight. This product looks very nice but this is not a good investment in my opinion, unless you care more about a company and as to whether and when you have an answer. My pet is worth spending the money, but not on a product that does not work correctly.
