Technology affects all aspects of your life, adding comfort, convenience and security, where the past has often fallen short. With the growth of the growing popularity of electrical dog fence, the technology is beginning to affect the life of your pet as well. </ P> </ p> Dogs have earned the title “Man’s Best Friend” over the years and the least we can do in return for their love and companionship is to allow them the freedom they need to thrive. But that has not had a pet stolen, lost or killed? Sometimes the best intentions to end the tragedy, and what makes these conditions even more tragic is the way they are easily preventable. </ P> </ p> With electrical dog fence, you can rest easy knowing that your pet the freedom he needs the security and peace of mind that you do. </ P> </ p> How electric fences for dogs (or invisible fences) work? </ P> </ p> First, you must establish your limit. How far are you willing to let your pet before reeling in? Once that is decided, the installation of the transmitter. The transmitter alerts you visual and audible alarms that let you know when your pet has addressed the containment area. Good ideas for the location of your transmitter: basements, covered patios and garages. The complete installation can be above or below ground depending on your preferences. </ P> </ p> After the limit is set, run the wire around the perimeter of the containment area for pets or areas (you can specify multiple areas of your home and property) in fixing it by either burial or stapling it to the ground. Wires, a signal is sent to the collar of your pet specialty receiver. </ P> </ p> How does the necklace? </ P> </ p> The first battery operated collar warning the dog with a series of beeps that he or she is in breach of the containment area. If the dog does not heed this warning beeps are followed in less than five seconds with a static correction, or shock, the dog’s neck, which is administered by two electrodes. </ P> </ p> This will continue until the dog returns to the containment area. </ p> </ p> But the shock therapy for dogs? Is not it a bit cruel? Actually, no it is not the case. Dogs are no longer surprised by it than anything else. Before long, the animal becomes accustomed to its environment, and generally avoid further shocks based on the packaging. The idea that dogs feel pain, or can even be burned by these corrections is an unfortunate myth relating to the product. </ P> </ p> But a word of warning: be sure to use electronic fences that use radio collars and computerized. Transmitters of these systems send a specific signal that only the neck is capable of decoding. The systems that can easily be confused with other electrical signals and inadvertent shock to your pet when not in breach of the containment area. It will not harm your pet, but could very well be confused. </ P> </ p> The health and safety of your pet is of paramount importance. The electronic dog fence brands such as Petsafe, Innotek, SportDog or are on the cutting edge of technology PET box, and give you peace of mind you need training that provides security . Do you and your pet a favor by choosing the right one for each of you.

If you are a dog owner and have already lost your dog for hours or days, you know the feeling you get panicky at the time. I jumped for joy when I found the dog wandering GPS Locator because it meant that I would never have to experience this feeling of helplessness again. My dog got out once during a storm and disappeared for three days. I looked everywhere for it, put up flyers, put an ad in the newspaper, and have finally found across the road in someone’s house. Well, they found for me. Fortunately!

If I had the GPS I found wandering in minutes, not days. What a lifesaver it is.

So what is this thing anyway? Basically, it’s a GPS tracking system made just for dogs. The dog wears a collar that comes with the system, and you use the beeper to track the movements of your dog. It works up to a radius of 1 mile and uses a color LCD to show you the exact location of your dog and even how fast it moves. It updates itself every few seconds so there is no delay in knowing where to find your lost dog.

If you have more than one dog, do not worry, that the vagrant may take up to 3 dogs at the same time as long as each dog has its own collar.

Another great advantage of this product is that you can set up a GPS “fence” using the coordinates that you establish by walking the perimeter of the area you want to be fenced . The GPS then commits this area in memory and alerts you if your pet leaves the area. For example, you can go ahead and walk the perimeter of your property and determine what your fenced area. The device will store this information in its memory and therefore at any time your dog jumps the fence or dig under the fence, you would know immediately by an alarm. You can always change your limit at any time.

batteries are rechargeable and used in the GPS collar, so you need not buy batteries. In fact, when you receive your system, it is ready to turn right of the box. There is no activation fee, no monthly usage fees, no hidden costs to all. Just put your collar on your dog and you’re ready to go.

As a dog owner with dogs that are outside the fence from time to time, the rover GPS Pet Locator System is a lifesaver. I recommend it to all those who have the slightest idea that their dog could walk out of court and lost. I do not think you’ll never regret the money spent. </ P>

Keep your dog safe is similar to keeping a child safe, you must be constantly alert. There are certain dangers a dog faces, especially in urban and suburban settings where the risk of escape and be hit by a car poses a serious threat. Keep your dog on your property protected, even when you’re not there to supervise, or keeping your dog run off and get hurt while playing around without a leash, is reason enough to find practical solutions. Here are three products that can help you and your companion enjoy some freedom while being safe! </ P>
>

Water Alarm w /

This product is designed to alert you if your dog into the pool. Now, I’m sure you think my dog is a great swimmer. And I am sure he is. But the reality is dogs drown in swimming pools, simply because they do not find the stairs. To keep your dog safe this summer, consider the safety of water turtle security alarm, or a similar product. This product works by attaching particular turtle necklace to your pet: an alarm will sound at a base station in the house when he jumps in. </ p>
<> Fencing

p /

There are many manufacturers of wire fence for pets to choose from: Innotek and Petsafe two brands are very good. This form of containment, it is possible for you to create invisible boundaries on your property, so that your dog does not flow. How does it work? </ P>

A transmitter (usually located in the garage or basement) sends a radio signal through a wire hidden buried along the perimeter of the “closed” area. Your dog wears a collar with a special receiver which emits a warning tone as it approaches the edge of the security zone, followed by a minor shock if he gets too close. Additional training, usually between 7-14 days, is needed to help your dog in the understanding and learning the limits of the fence. </ P>

It is important to note that while invisible fences work well with most dogs, they are not 100% effective, especially if your dog is old, stubborn and not well trained. If you think this might be the case with your pet and you want to try this product, be sure to alert a reasonable trial period to ensure that your dog is not on it can “jump” in Closing and runoff. </ P>

You should also check on the barrier once it is installed to ensure that the perimeter wire is in tact, the batteries in the collar of your dog and still work if your dog has a heavy coat, the area where the collar
establishes contact is shaved. Also, check with the manufacturer on the radio frequency is it FM or AM. FM is better than AM tends to pick up stray signals that can give your dog a correction, even when not near the perimeter fence. </ P>

Another disadvantage of this type of fence is that it does not other animals. For this reason, people often use this type of fence, in conjunction with a standard fence to keep the dog from a garden or pool. </ P>

safety collars and light <gilets / P>

safety collars and vests with flashing are generally constructed of reflective material and lights attached to them. Some, such as collar and leash ™ asPolyBrite do more than simply reflect light, they generate themselves. Both the collar and leash and emit a bright red glow and can also be set to flash. They use a stack of interchangeable watch that last up to 250 hours, are light, and above all – water resistant. You can also find a range of clip on lights, longest-lasting and water for larger dogs to something very small and light as the flashing Pet. The clip on flashing lights can also be attached to a child’s coat or belt if needed. </ P>

safety vests are a necessity for the working dog or if you take your dog jogging in poorly lit areas. It is also essential for hunting dogs. Besides being constructed of reflective safety vests higher end generate light and may have a flashing light for greater visibility. </ P>

Was a moment of pleasure and a great time to get out and run or swim with your pets. Even if you take safety precautions if the unexpected at your pets, it is always advisable to have pet insurance if you’re in the emergency room. (See: http://www. A1-dogs. Com / pet insurance. Htm). Whatever you do, have fun and enjoy yourself. </ P>

location system offered by vagrant animal may be a useful tool for those who have already lost a dog. Vagabond lets you know precisely and quickly locate lost pets, using state of the art GPS technology. The color LCD handheld gives you the location of information in a readable format, allowing you to see where your pet, and where he or she may be headed.

The system consists of the rover GPS receiver and a driver’s collar that your dog wears. Although there is no reason why technology can not work on cats, the smallest available collar is too large for almost all cats, and a small system has not yet been made. The receiver receives the location information sent by the neck, including the speed of your dog, he or she is and how fast your pet goes. Every few seconds, you will get another update, providing a constant flow of information in real time.

Except for the GPS technology, the rover is a bit like a normal dog collar. Simply put on your pet and to activate the system to begin tracking. Unlike some GPS systems other animal, vagrant does not require membership or visit the Web site. This means that the initial cost of the device is all you need to pay. However, vagrant is limited to a radius of one mile from the handheld unit. If your dog leaves the area, the last known position will be posted, but there is no way to follow later.

Once the system is activated, you can follow up three dogs at once, as long as all dogs wear collars. You can also create a barrier GPS walking around the perimeter of the area where your dog is allowed to be while holding the handheld unit. Once your pet leaves the area, an alarm will sound to let you know that there is a problem. The electronic frontier is automatically stored, so it is easy to delete and replace with a new field that you choose.

Both the dog collar and receiver come with their own rechargeable batteries, so you do not need to buy new. However, these batteries last only eight to ten hours, which means you’ll need to use the included adapter for recharging. Charging takes about three hours, and can be done during the night or morning before leaving your dog.

The five and a half inch by four and a half-inch display is small enough to carry easily, but big enough for information to be read without any problem. The affair of the necklace containing the rover GPS unit is approximately two inches by one inch, and weighs a little over two ounces – not enough to strain even a small dog. This case is waterproof to one meter deep, which makes it difficult for your pet to break the GPS to swim or in the rain.

A major drawback is the cost of a vagabond. Some of his competitors are less than half that this system, a little over four hundred dollars for a handheld unit and the collar. Additional collars are about one hundred and fifty dollars each. However, these competitors require a monthly subscription, with a commitment of at least one year, if the costs are comparable to the end. </ P>
Moreover, the RoamEO is designed to update readings every few seconds, thus providing users with a continuous stream of real-time information. Just snap the collar on your dog, turn it on, and RoamEO is operational. The RoamEO handheld unit can track up to three dogs simultaneously.

Each pet would require their own collar. One big downside to RoamEO is the cost. Some of its competitors are half as much as this system, at a little over four hundred dollars for a handheld unit and collar. The good thing about RoamEO is that both the handheld receiver and the collar are equipped with GPS receivers. This means that if you are on a hike, you don’t continuously have to re-create a virtual fence every step you take.

But tracking can bring challenges. By the time you reach the destination the pet will have moved on. This system only sends out updates every 3 minutes. Once your pet leaves this area, an audible alarm will sound to let you know there’s a problem. This electronic boundary is automatically stored, so it’s easy to wipe it out and replace it with a new area as you choose. They have received considerable input from cat owners asking for a product like RoamEO for their pets. As a result, they are actively investigating whether they can make a collar small enough to fit on cats. If your pet exits this perimeter, an audible alarm will sound. For example, you may wish to establish your property line as the perimeter for your pet.

The receiver picks up location information sent from the collar, including the speed of your dog, where he or she is, and how fast your pet is going. Apart from the $500 price tag (plus $160 for each additional GPS-enabled collar), the collar and receiver communicate with each other via radio, not GSM. There is no need for the collar to be off the dog for 4-6 hours while the batteries recharge, which would leave your dog unprotected during an escape without the collar. Your dog has protection 24/7/365. The signal from the collars can be detected up to 3 miles from the receiver. The RoamEO Pup’s high contrast display can be easily read in sunlight or at night.

It comes with a built-in battery that will last between 18 and 30 hours. Now each time you put on your dog’s collar, it comes with the extraordinary advantage of knowing that you can locate your pet at anytime. Just place your collar on the dog and you’re ready to track.
